logo printing and branding

MyUSBGift is operated by Giftstalk Sdn Bhd, in the corporate gifts trade since 2011. We cover the full range of logo decoration, and stock sits in our own warehouse in Selangor – deep enough that a large order usually ships off the shelf instead of waiting on a supplier.

UV print, laser engraving and UV DTF we run in-house. That is the practical advantage: those jobs move on our own schedule, and when something needs adjusting mid-run we sort it the same day rather than waiting on a third party. Every other method below is available too. Which one suits a job is decided by the material and the shape of the item, not by preference – metal takes engraving, leather takes deboss, a flat box takes foil. Tell your sales consultant the product and the artwork and they will recommend the method.

what we print on

Not only flash drives. Vacuum flasks, tumblers and ceramic mugs; laptop backpacks, totes, pouches and drawstring bags; umbrellas; notebooks, pens, card holders and desk sets; power banks, cables, adapters and speakers; towels; lunch boxes, tiffin carriers and straw sets; gift boxes and packaging.

Anything held as ready stock can carry a logo, and stock quantities are shown against every item on this site and updated daily – so you can check what is available before you commit a quantity to your client.

how an order runs

Send your artwork in Adobe Illustrator (.ai). Vector artwork prints cleanly at any size; other formats usually have to be redrawn, which costs time and may carry a charge. You get the redrawn file back either way.

Once the artwork is confirmed and payment is received, printing normally takes 5 to 14 working days, excluding weekends and public holidays. Items ordered without printing move on the next working day. If your client’s deadline is shorter than that, tell your sales consultant at the start rather than after the order is placed – ready stock and a simple one-colour print give us the most room to move, and we will do our best for you. More detail is in the FAQ.

custom made usb flash drive

Where nothing in the catalogue fits, we can have a drive made in the shape of the client’s own product, building, mascot or logo. Send an idea, a doodle, a hand drawing or a photograph to start. We return a digital rendering to approve before any mould is cut, so you can show the client what they are getting. PVC, ABS, metal and wood are all workable, and moving parts are possible.

custom project flow chart

  • Concept design – you supply the reference, we return artwork for confirmation
  • Mould development
  • Production and quality check
  • Delivery

A custom moulded drive takes longer than a catalogue item because the mould has to be made first. Bring it to us early in the campaign, not at the end.

an example of a step-by-step guide for your custom usb thumb drive is shown below:

Step 1: the client's product, photo or drawing supplied as reference Step 2: 3D artwork and a mould sized to fit a flash drive Step 3: the finished custom moulded USB flash drive

STEP 1

Provide us with the actual product, or a picture or drawing of it

STEP 2

We design a 3D artwork, then a mould sized to suit a flash drive

STEP 3

The mould is cut and your custom made drive comes off the line

Silk screen printing a logo onto a corporate gift

silk screen printing

The most used method, and the one most items will take. Ink is pushed through a fine mesh onto the surface, one colour at a time, so a two or three colour logo is built up in passes. It suits solid surfaces, holds its colour, and it is what we reach for first unless the artwork or the material says otherwise.

full color photo printing

For logos with many colours, shading or a gradient. Four process colours are combined to reproduce the artwork as it was drawn, rather than approximating it in spot colours. A protective film goes over the print, so it resists the scratches and knocks a gift picks up in daily use.

Laser engraving a logo into a metal corporate gift

laser engraving

For metal. The beam burns your logo into the surface instead of printing on top of it, so there is no ink to chip or peel. It reads as a single tone in the natural colour of the metal, which suits flasks, pens and metal flash drives, and it stands up to scratching and everyday wear-and-tear.

deboss

For leather and leather-finish items. A heated die presses the logo into the surface and leaves a recessed impression in the same colour as the material. There is no ink and no second colour, which is the point – it reads as quiet and expensive, and it wears in rather than wears off.

Gold foil hot stamping on a flat packaging box

hot stamping

Foil is transferred onto the surface under heat and pressure, most often in gold or silver. It is the usual choice for flat packaging boxes and for anything that has to look more considered on the shelf. A gold or silver foil on a plain box changes how the whole gift is received.

crystal inner laser & customize led colour

Only for crystal items. The logo is etched inside the block rather than on the outside, so it appears to float in the glass and cannot be rubbed off. Crystal carries weight and clarity that photographs well, and most standard LED colours are available for the lit base.

Wood engraving a logo into a wooden gift item

wood carving / engraving

For wooden items and wooden packaging. Walnut, redwood, maple, bamboo and cherry each burn to a different tone, so the same artwork lands differently on each one. The mark sits in the material rather than on it, keeps the natural colour of the wood, and takes daily handling without fading.

epoxy dome

A clear resin dome set over a printed label. The logo keeps its full colour and gains a raised, glossy finish, and the resin takes the scratching that a flat printed surface would otherwise collect. It needs a flat area to sit on, so it is not available on every shape.
